Derrick Schippers

Derrick started his music career as a self-taught musician and later furthered his music studies at MAPP music college then UCT (SACM).  To date he has performed with legendary artists such as Sipho “Hotstix” Mabusa, Dorothy Masuka, Robbie Jansen, Fitzroy Ncgukana, George Werner, Dolly Ratheba, PJ Powers, Loyiso Bala, Swazi Dlamini & Benjamin Dube to name but a few, Derrick has performed nationally and internationally at various music events and festivals as a sideman and as bandleader.
